Frequently Asked Questions
Envelopes versus Inserts?
Envelopes provide a great all-in-one product. While they are the more expensive option, they're durable and ready to go. Pop them into your set up and they're ready to get to work for you. But temperature changes & regular use over time can warp their appearance (but will not lessen their
Cash inserts are kind of your budget bestie. They're the cheaper option and provide a little more flexibility. While you will need to purchase pouches for them, once that investment is made, changing out the categories as your budget needs change is a more affordable option.
Cash Envelope Care
Envelopes are made of premium vellum material and laminated finish. It's important to keep your envelopes condensed while not in use and away from extreme temperature fluctuations. Overstuffing your envelopes can cause the lamination to come apart and warp the material. Normal and frequent use can also cause the material to warp over time.
What Markers Can I Use with my Savings Challenges
For gloss laminated finishes, you can use a sharpie to mark the trackers. Alcohol Wipes (like those found in the first aid aisle) or magic erasers will lift the sharpie and allow you to reuse the trackers again and again. *you may need to use a little some force for sharpie that has been there for some time*. For matte laminated finishes, you CAN use dry erase markers with the same cleaning solution as mentioned above, but there is a shadow of the marking that is likely to remain. Please keep in mind that too much force of removal may remove the matte finish on the product as well. You can also use other alternatives such as micro dot stickers - (which you can find in my shop) with matte finish trackers.
